May 4, 1979 Freedom of Information Act Officer Nuclear Regulatory Lt amission Washington, DC 20005 Pursuant to the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, I am writing to request the following inrormation on behalf of myself and my fellow members of Prairie Alliance:
(I) Copies of any NRC documents pertaining to the safety of Clinton Units I and II (dockets70-461 and 70-462) or to the accident s, risks, pro-babilities, and consequences not contained in the present NRC 70-461 and 70-462 public files, such as are maintained in the NRC PDR.
We refer especially to cited reports that in the order repudiating parts of WASil-I400, the NRC commissioners directed the staff to review all existing plant licenses with regard to thhOr reliance on NASil-1400.
(2) Copies of NRC documents pertaining specifically to the generic safety of all BWRS and/or GE BWRS.
Should this include reports too numerous and/or lengthy to conveniently provide, please limit yout response to those documents produced since the order repudiating the Rasmussen report.
Ilowe cr. we would appreciate in this event receiving a list of documents produced prior to this repudiation and information of where we mcy obtain each repor.
(3) The official NRC list of Generic Unresolved Safety Problems for BWR's and/or GE BWR's.
(4) The text of any NRC documents instructing the designers, engineers, con-structors, or operators of BWR's or all reactors (but not specifically PWR's) existing procedures and practices as a result of the WAS'l-1400 repudiation or subsequent events, including the accident at Three Mile Island.
