SUBJECT:

POSSIBLE LEAKAGE OF GASF: :S ACTIVITY The gaseous activity in the Aux ary Building is apparently coming from the make-up tank (MU-T-1) vent.

.he activity level of this is above that expected if its source was the MU-T-1.

A likely source for this gas is one or more of the reactor coolant bleed tanks (WDL-T-1 A, 8 or C).

The leakage path could be as follows:

1.

Source: WDL-T-1A, B or C 2.

Through: Air operated diaphragm valve WDL-V26A, B or C 3.

Through: Manually operated diaphragm valve WDG-V116A, B or C 4.

Leakage Past Check Valve WDG-V110 on the MU-T-1 vent 5.

Out MU-V13 or MU-V136 which may be leaking to the room.

Recentnenda tion:

Close valves WDL-V26A, B and C if open.
