R. Vollmer/V. Stello STORAGE OF SPENT CHARCOAL ADSORBERS The licensee is presently constructing steel boxes la rge enough to hold 8 - 10 spent carbon trap.
TMI plans to store the boxes on the 328 level in t'e auxiliary building and wait for decay before removing the charcoal and c sposing of this waste in 55 gallon drums and refilling the cell with new carbon for reuse in the AB/FH baildings.
Before storing them in this area i requested that they check to make sure that the area has a sprinkler system.
The spent resins contained in 55 gallon drums will then be shipped to Barnwell or Richland.
