Primary coolant sample has been taken.

(40 ml, Herbein 17 r/hr gamma reading).

Get samples to labs Miller (Met-Ed, B&W, Savannah River, Oak Ridge).

All Essential that copies of all data is forwarded to him.

There will be a mee ing at 1200 Wednesday, April 11, All 1979, in Euilding 26 to discuss the Safety Analysis for Natural Circulation and Long Term Cooling (which will be provided).

5.

Implement shorter health physics training for Herbein qualified personnel.

6.

Sample has been taken on Neutralizer Tank 8A.

Need electrical work or new valve line-up to get recirc Palmer on 8B for sample.

7.

NRC to locate railroad tank cars for contingency Stello liquid waste storage.

Locate Heise Gauges (0-20 psi range) for containment Herbein sung level measurement system.

Emergency RB cooling pumps have been repacked.

Herbein Leakage to Auxiliary Building reduced to essentially zero.

Tech Spec changed issued;to allow securing the

Instrument Group to issue 12-hour status reports Levenson on instruments.

Determine what in-core *hermocouples should have Levenson readout in Control Room; route " Diagnostic" signals Wilson -

to other con enient location.

Most excores working well.

Assure that operators are Herbein aware of any invalid signals.

Movable detector N-8 is capabl,e;of b,eing. moved at least 3 ft. into the core ~.

Thermocouple on exit of electro-mechanical relief Wilson valve may provide valuable data for reconstructing incident.
