We are returning unsigned, the above captioned Amendment which requires that effective May 1st the licensee provide $160 million as underlying financial protection.

As you are aware, the Nuclear Liability Insurance Pools have not seen fit to provide us with the additional $20 million limit that was required as of May 1, 1979. As soon as we are advised by the Nuclear Liability Insurance Pools that the additional $20 million limit is available for TMI, we will request that you resubmit this Amendment for signature.

B-64, between fietropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power & Light Company, and Pennsylvania Electric Company, and the Atomic Energy Commission, dated December 11, 1973, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:

The amount "$140,000,000" is deleted wherever it appears and the amount "$160,000,000" is substituted therefor.

The amount "$108,500,000" is deleted wherever it appears and the amount "$124,000,000" is substituted therefor.

The amount "$31,500,000" is deleted wherever it appears and the amount "$36,000,000" is substituted therefor.

Item 2a of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is deleted in its entirety and the followirg substituted therefor:
