NRC e=ployees reporting for duty at IMI should follow the following:__

Enter through South Cate (see attached map). At the guard post 1

i= mediately after the bridge park in the visitors parking.' The TMI security guard will issue an " Escorted Access Only" badge iW'--

upon presentation of NRC credentials.

Drive.to-second guard post, park your car and go to the trailer -"

with the sign " Check In Here".

Fill out forms to receive TMI TLD dosimeter.

If difficulty is encountered at any point, call one of the following commercial numbers:

However, TMI TLD's are only issued fros 7:00 a.m. through 11:30 p.m.

After receiving TLD proceed immediatply to NRC trailer area (see map).

The individual who requests that an NRC employee report for, duty at the TMI site MUST provice John Mcoscar, Trailer 18 with the following information at least 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> before the individual arrives at TMI.

(Many RWP areas at TMI require use of respiratory protection) f.

Persons who require access to areas requ ring respiratory protection must either:

Bring a certification, signed by a doctor within the past year, that they can safely use respiratory protection or; i59 128

Have a physical onsite. Onsite Physicals are not given on any regular schedule, so this approach may result in a delay of one or more days.

RUP Autnorization, Respiratory Protection Qualification and/or access W-to Unit I must be limited to individuals who definitely require such e

authorization to accomplish their official duties.

NRC employees who are regularly assigned a dosimetry device (TLD, v.-

l film badge) by NRC should pring it to TMI with them.

4.

All Health-Physicists who are assigned to duty within the plant (based in the Turbine Building) must be RWP and Respiratory Protection Qualified.
