SUBJECT:
INQUIRY REGARDING DECREASE IN REACTOR BUILDING NEGATIVE PRESSURE At approximately 0000 on April 11, 1979, Don Davis called to inquire what we knew about the decrease in reactor building negative pressure during the last shift. He was particularly interested in knowing whether the fan coolers were in operation. Af ter checking out the situation, I provided the following information to Davis: 1. The emergency cooling booster pumps were shutdown at approximately 1600 April 10 -- a result of leakage problems. 2. The fan coolers have remained in uperation. 3 The licensee plans to restart the booster pumps if the reactor building negative pressure decreases to -0.5 psig. I told Davis that I viewed this operation to be consistent
