H. Silver The enclosed revision to the Three Mile Island, Unit 2, Safety Evaluation Report revises the following sections of the Auxiliary and Power Conversion Systems Branch original report dated November 5,1975.

(1) Section 9.4.3, Puel Building SVAC System In Amendment No. 36, the applicant has co=mitted to providine seistic Category I isolation da=pers for the fuel building supply air syster.

This cotuitment resolves this previously open item.

(2) Section 9.5.1, Fire Protection System The following paragraph should be added to the end of Section 9.5.1 of the SER.

As a result of investigstions and evaluations presently being conducted by the NRC Staff on fire protection systees, further requirements may be i= posed on the Three Mile Island design to further improve the capability of the fire protection system to prevent imacceptable da= age that may result from a fire.

(3) Section 10.3, Main Steam Sunolv Svsten The applicant has verbally co nitted to providing an analysis to wrify that Three Mile Island can withstand the effcets of esin steats line pipe breaks outside centainrent. Until this analysis 120 269 7005160$67
