MEMORANDUM May 2, 1979 By our order of April 2, 1979, we postponed indefi-nitely the evidentiary hearing then scheduled to commence on April 4 on the aircraft crash probability issue.
Although not stated in the order, our reasons for taking that step were obvious.
It appears to us that no useful purpose would be served by rescheduling the hearing at this time or in the near future.
Consequently, it is our present intention to take no further action in that regard for at least the next four months.
On or about October 1, 1979, we will make another assessment of the situation and advise the parties accordingly.
