BACKGROUND INFOR'~ATION ON TMI GENERIC IMPLICATION Commissioner Gilinsky has asked me to put together a package of background material for the Commission unich could also possibly be made available to the public during tomorrow's briefing.
For your information the package inc~ades the following:
Item 1 -- Status of B&W reactors (transmitted so that you can check its accuracy)
Item 2 -- I&E Bulletin 79-05 (I have this)
Item 3 -- Description of ILE 7.ctions regarding L&t: plants (April 2, 1979 memo from John Davis to Commissioner Gilinsky plus the specific acditional information Commissioner Gilincky requested over the phone this afternoon)
Item 4 -- Description of Task Croup on Generic Review of Feedwater Transient in B&W Designed Reactors (April 2, 1979 memo from D.
Davis to Ed Case, which I have)
