The relief relates to the inservice testing progra.n for the Three Mila Isla.-d !;uclear Station, Unit 2 (tne facility), located in caupi.in Cou.ty, Pennsylvania. The A52 Coce require ents are incorpcratea oy reference i.ito de Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Part 50.
The relief is effective as of its date of issuance.
Relief is granted until tne start of ccamercial operation frca cormliance with certain inservice testing require 2nents cetermined to ce impractic.i for the facility tecause compliance wculd result in hardsnips and unusual difficulties witnout a compensating increase in tne level of cuality or safety.
The request for relief complies witn the standards anc require.. cats of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and tne Co. mission's rules and regulations. The Cor:ir.ission has made appropriate findings as required by tne 7.ct and the C0 mission's rules and regulaticns in IJ CFR Chapter I, s icn are set fcrth
