LYSIS Le ourpose of this mecotundum is to inform you of the Containment Systes Branch findings regarding the applicant's analysis of a postulated cold-le; break inside the reactor cavity. Figures 042.3-20 through 042.3-52 presented in Suppleacnt 3, kendmnt 48 present the pressure profiles for the different nodes. Le results of our analysis confirm the acceptability of the maximum pressure calculated by the applicant in a11 modes except for the break ncde where we have calculated a higher peak pressure.
The attached figure depicts the pressure profile we have cbtained for the break node. Based on the applicant's analysis and cur conficatory analysis, we conclude the reactor cavity design should be based on tne following:
