EVALUATION OF THE SECURITY PLAN FOR THE OPERATI!iG LICENSE REQUIREMEWS OF THE THREE MILE ISLNiD STATIC;1, U* TIT 2 (THI-2)
A new security plan, part of the application for an operating license, has been sub::ritted by Metropolitan Edison Cccoany for Unit 2 of the Three Mile Island Station. This plan is dated as January 24, 1978 and its first revision, Revision I, as January 27, 1978.
It is identified as:
Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit " (TMI-2)
License No. CPPR-60 Docket No. 50-320 Interin. Physical Security Plan This plan has been found to provide Tif5-2 an equivalent level of security as that provided for TMI-1. It includes the new requirements required by 3 73.55 on May 25,1977 and any upgrading that was cocpleted on January 24, 1978 as a result of the effort to implec:ent g 73.E5 by August 24, 1978. This plan is an interi:a plan and will continue toward full implementation of g 73.55 in August 1978.
I have reviewed this plan are find it acceptable in fulfillment of the security requireants for the TIII-2 cperating license.
