THREE MILE ISLAND UNIT 2, REQUEST FOR RELIEF FROM CERTAIN ASME CODE SECTION XI PUMPS AND VALVES IN-SERVICE TESTING REQUIREMENTS The Reactor Systems Branch has reviewed the Three Mile Island submittal requesting relief from ASME Section XI reouirements on certain corronents.

Several check valves in the safety injection system have not been classified properly. The following check valves should be reclassified to ASME category AC, with the reouired leak testing for this category of valve being perfonned to code specifications.
