SUBJECT:

SU 01ARY OF MEETING ON TMI-2 STEAMLINE BREAK Representatives of the applicant and his contractors met with members of the staff on January 10, 1978 in Bethesda to discuss aspects of the steam line break issue.

A list of attendees is enclosed.

The purpose of the meeting was to explain the analytica2 approach taken by the applicant and B&W for steam line break during the first fuel cycle, including a discussion of fuel assemblies in ONa dose calculations, maintenance of coolable geometry, and draft responses to our previous questions.

Presentations were made by B&W and the appli-cant's meteorology consultant, and draft responses were discussed briefly.

The applicant committed to early revision of preliminary and final documents to incorporate information discussed.

This was subsequently done in an acceptable manner.
