The purpose of this letter is to formalize and expand the concitments made in our meeting of Mart h 29, 1977 At our meeting we agreed to meet the intent of the Staff criteria set forth in your letter of March 15, 1977 We are providing an actica plan for i=ple=entation of any plant modifications required by these criteria at our first refueling cutage (October, 1979).
The major long-ter ite=s that are critical to this ac'. ion and result in a long-term plan are the review of alternative solutions, evnluation and justifi-cation of the selected modificatien, ordering and manufacturing of components, and NRC Staff reviev and approval.
