By letter dated Cctcher 26, 1973, and supplemented by letter dated December 19, 1973, Metropolitan Ediscn Company requesteu an axtension of the ccmpletion date because construction has been delayed due to:
(1) construction priority given to the ;cm-pletion of L' nit 1; (2) more e.xtensive effort e.an predicted; (3) additional work required by the evolution of more stringent safety reccamendations subsequent to the issuance of the construction permits; (4) effects of a -ajor rain storm in June 1972.
