Pursuant to our agreement with R. Vollmer tlut these issues are properly treated in the Chapter 13 review, we are requesting your efforts in resolving these two issues with the applicant.
Since October,1974, we have tnodified our position on the recorting level of the Radiation Protection Supervisor as follovs:
the Radiation Protection Supervisor should have auf ficient authority and organizational freedon to identify radiation protection problems, to recommend or provide solutions; and to verify implementation of solutions. In general the Radiation Protection Supervisor shou'd be independnent of operating, naintenance, or technical support elements whose pri=e responsibility is station operability.
