J. Norris Requested Ccapletion Date: March 28, 1975 We have completad our preliminary review of the Radicactive Waste Treatment System and associated sectiona of Supplement II of the Envircomental Report for three Mile Ialand, Unit 2.
The information supplied in Supplement II and the ER conforma with Section 3.5, Radvaste Sys ta=s, and Apperdix i of Regulatory Guide 4.2 (March 1973). We have reviewed for comilateness the radwasta system description, flow diagrams, and P & ID's,
parameters used in the calculation of liquid and gaseous source terms, and estimates of the quantities of radioactive materials released.
We find that Supplement II adequately updates the original IR issuance and reco= mend that it be accepted for review.
