APPLICATION FOR FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE

Attached are 10 copies of the Operating License Application and 18 copies of the FSAR, cocprising A=end ent 13 to the license application for TMI Unit 2.
These copies are submitted unsigned for your preliminary review and deter =ination as to suf ficient completeness and conformity with Commission requirements.
The required number of copies of the Applicant's Environtental Repo rt - Operatinc License Stage, Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 and Unit 2 were filed with the Ccc=ission on Decencer 10, 19 71, prior to the issuance of the Draf t Detailed Statement and Final Environmental State-nent related to the operation of Tnree Mle Island Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2.
The outstanding report an the question of high energy pipe breaks outside containment is nea"ing co=pletica and will be filed as Appendix 3F to the FSAR by May 1,1974.
Please note that Section 8 specifies that Mr R. C. Arnold, Vice President, Metropolitan Edison, should be the recipient for the applicant of future communications.
