The applicant has proposed to use state-of-the-art technology for the liquid, gaseous and solid radvaste trentrwsnt systems and the syste=s are designed to acceptable codes and standards. We find these fste=s acceptable.
Cur _ analysis of radioactive releases due to liquid tank failures outside contninunt shows the provisions incorporated in the applicant's dest:n to mitigata the effects of tank failures involving contaminated 11gulds to be acceptable.
The deterriination whether the preposed liquid and geseous radvaste systans meet the dose design objectives of Appendix I to 10 CFR ? art 50 vill be evaluatad in a supp1mont to the SE2.
