!;otice is hereby given that pursuant to the Initial Decisien of tne Atomic Safety and Licensing Board dated December 19, 1977, tae suclear Pegulatory Cecmission (the Ccanission) has issued Facility Ccerating License tio. DPR-73 to the Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Pcver & Light Company, and Pennsylvania Electric Company, authorizing omraticn of tne Three Mile Island tiuclear Station, Unit 2, by the 'tetropolitan Edison Company in accordance with the provisicos of the license and the Technical Specifica-tiens. The Three Mile Island tiuclear Station, Unit 2, is a pressurized water reactor located at the licensees' site in Londonderry Tcwnship, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, accut ten miles southeast of Harrisburg.
However, the facility is tecrocarily restricted from operating at full rated ocwer until certain tests and other items noted in the license ccnditions are completed to the written satisf action of tne Cccrissicn.
The Initial Cecision is subject to review by an Atcmic Safety and Licensing Apoeal Soard prior to its becoming final.
