Jersey Central Power ir Light Company and Metropolitan Edison Company have jointly filed Amendment No. 6 to facility license application for the previously designated Oyster Creek Unit 2 nuclear reactor.

The applicants have selected as a new site for the reactor the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station in Dauphin Coonty, Pennsylvania, and have redesignated the reactor as the Three Mfin Island Nuclear Station Unit 2.

Yalsnes 1 through 4 of the Pr=14=in=7 Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) for the Three Mila T=12nd Nuclear Station Unit 2 are enclos4.i. This PSAR conrafna all information previously furnished in the Oyst.=r Creek Unit 2 PS AR and samviments thereto. In addition, new informa-tion is provided that caecarra site-related changes as identified in the index.

Please review the enclosed documents with respect to fire effects of an aircraf t impact at the Three Mile Iainnd Nuclear Station Unit 2 aita. You may be callad span to discuss this natter at a future seeting with us.
