7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATCRY CCMMISSION 00CKET NO. 50-320 METROPCLITAN EDISON CCMPANY JERSEY CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT CCMPANY PENNSYLVANIA ELECTRIC COMPANY THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT NO. 2 NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF INITIAL DECISION OF THE ATCMIC SAFETY AND LICENSING BOARD Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Camnission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 51, notice is hereby given that an Initial Decision dated Decamber 19, 1977, by the Atcmic Safety and Licensing Board in the acove-captioned proceedings is available for inspection by the public in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N. W.,
Washington, D. C., and at the Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsylvania, Education Build,ing, Harrisburg, Dennsylvania.
Based on the record developed in. the public hearing in the above-captioned mattee, the Initial Decision modified in certain respects the contents of the Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement prepared by the Commission's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation relating to the crocosed construction of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Uni t No. 2.

- Pursuait to the provisions of Section 51.52(b)(3) of 10 CFR Part 51, the Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement is deemed modified to the extent tha*: the Findings and Conclusions contained in the Initial Decision differ frcn those contained in the Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement.
As required by Section 51.52(b)(3) of 10 CFR Part 51, a copy of the Initial Decision, which modifies the Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement, has been trans-mitted to the Environmental Protection Agency and other interested agencies and persons in accordance with Section 51.26(c) of 10 CFR Part 51.
The Initial Decision and the Final Supplement to the Final Environ-mental Statement are available for public inspection at the Comission's Public Occument Room at 1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D.C. and in the Government Publications Section, State Library of Pennsylvania, Education Building, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Copies of the Final Supplement to the Final Environmental Statement (Document No. NUREG-0112) may be purchased at current costs, from the National Technical Information Center, Springfield, Virginia 22161.
