In response to this bulletin, Met Ed ack:culedged the potential for similar problems at OC Uni: 2 and stated that pre-eperaticnal testing vculd previde the required data for evaluation of the subject breakers.

Althcugh on-site testing of all EI-3 colded case circuit breakers is net yet ec ple:a, 207 of the subject breakers have been tested to date.

Cf the 207 tes:ed, 127 (or 61*.) have failed :o meet the fixed instantaneous trip se::ing specified by the manufacturer's curves.
