Nuclear Regulatory Ccmission (the Ccmission) has issued Amendrent 4 to Facility Operating License No. JPR-73, issuec to the "etro;:olitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Pcwer & L;gn Oc.ncany, end Pennsylvania Electric Company, for oceration of tne Three ' tile Islanc Nuclear Station, Unit 2 (the facility), located in Dauphin Ccunty, Pennsylvania. The amendment is effective as of its cate of issuance.
The license is amended by revising certain Technical Specifications.
The application for the amendnent conplies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as arendec (the Act), anc the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission nas made apcropria;e findings as required oy the Act and the Ccmission's rules anc regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set fortn in the license anencrent.
The Comission has cetermined that the issuance of this arencran; will not result in any significant environmental impact anc that cursuant to 10 CFR 51(c)(4), an environmental statement cr negative declaratien and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepcred in conrecticn with issuance of this amendrent.
