Bree Mile Island Unit 2 SDiMARY OF MEETING ON TliQi SPECS Representatives of the applicant met with mem.bers of the NRC staff on September 17, 1975 to discuss portions of the preliminarv draft Tech Specs for UlI-2.
Previously, the B6W standard Technical Specifications had been forearded to the applicant for use as the basis for the BtI-2 Tech Specs, and these had been marked up and submitted as requested.
It was pointed out that the review =ade by the staff of the marked-up STS was preliminary, by the Standard Tech Spec group only. The pur-pose of the meeting was to discuss the staff comments, identify omissions and changes required, and resolve areas of dispute where possible. After such resolution and receipt of adcitional information, a proof S review version of the Tech Specs would be prepared and cir-culated for a ful' staff review.
Discussion of the sections received was open and detailed, and afte?
study of items identified during the meeting and further review of the document by the staff, should help assure satisfactory Tech Specs.
he applicant pointed out that the final fuel design will not be available till next spring and that related parameters may require revision. The staff noted that a revision to the B5W STS is scheduled for late September and that this revised version will form the basis for the plant Tech Specs.
Time did not permit co=cletion of the full agenda and another meeting was tentatively scheduled for October 1,197S to review Se rtiens 3/4/3.2 and 3/4. 3. 3.
