Pennsylvania adjacent to Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 and known as Three Mile Island Nuclear Statien Unit 2.

The facility will be capable of cperatica at a reactor ther=al power level of approximately 2772 MWt.

The corresponding net electrical output is 906 MW in winter and 880 MW in su==er.

Details concerning the station and the site are contained in the Final Saf et: inalysis Report (FSAR) which is filed with the Ata=ic Energy Cc==1ssica (AIC) with this application, and is incor-parated herein by reference. The operating stage Environ = ental Report for Three Mile Island Units 1 and 2 was filed Dece=ber 10, 1971.

Financial Cualifications ownership of the facility is to be in the follewing proportions by the three applicants (each of which is a subsidiary of General Public Utilities Corporation):

Metropolitan Edison Cc=pany

- 25%

Jersey Central Pcwer & Light Company - c5%

Pennsylvania Electric Cc=pany

- 10 %

and the project is currently being financed in these proportions by the three applicants in accordance with the requisite authorizations heretofore cbtained frc= regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Cc==issicn.

The documents to effect the transfers of legal title in accordance with the foregoing are in the process of preparatien.

Each of the cuners of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 2, is an electric utility ec=pany.

Their operations, for all practical purposes, are entirely devoted to the generation, trans=ission, distri-bution, and sale of electric energy, and the necessary funds for operating and =aintaining all of their f acilities, including the Three Mile Is2 and Nuclear Station Unit 2, are derived fre= the customers who ulti=ately purchase such electric energy.
