A review ha.s been rade of the Draft Invirennental State =ent for 2rce Mile Island :nclear Staticn Units 1 and 2.
Wat secticn of the craft stattent which concerns itself with " historical significance" is in agreement with cur findings.
Se basic significance of 2.ree :Ille Island ste=s frc= its encreachnent with Indian culture and the archaeological rerains en the island. Cur staff cenducted arc'acological investigatiens en the island prier to r
constructicn of the = clear plant.
2ere are no ::aticnal ?.egister sites in the i=ediate vicinity of 2ree PJ.le Island. Se closest registered site is St. Peter's Church in Middletown and the generating plant will have no apparent adverse effect en this site.
