Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power & Lig,ht Corrany, and Pennsylvania Electric Co::rpany have filed an application for an operating license for Unit 2 of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station presently under construction on Three vile Island in Londonder n Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Enclosed is a copy of a related notice which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication. This is a combined notice of receipt of application, notice of consideration of issuance of facility operating license, and notice of opportunity for hearing.
It is our understanding that you were served a copy of this appli-cation and the Final Safety Analysis Report by the applicants in accordance with Section 2.101 (b) of the Commission's regulations.
