OF APFLICAT!CN ~#CR CONSTRUC*ICM FERMIT A'iD FACILI"'Y LICENSE In an applicatica dated April 22, 1963, Jersey Central Power & Light Costany, Madisen Avenue at ?unch Ecwl Road, Morristown, New Jersey 07960, filed an application for authcrizatics to construct and operate a pressurized water nuclear reactor, designated as the Oyster Creek Nuclear Station Unit 2, en the applicant's site in Lacey Township, Ocean County, New Jeraey. A notice of re-ceipt of the application was published in the FIDERAL REGI. ITER en June 19, 1963, 33 F.R. 9033.
In license application Anendnent No. 6, dated March 10, 19c9, filed jcintly by Jersey Central Power & Light Ccspany and Metropolitan Edisen Cc=pany, P. C. Box 542, Reading, Pennsylvania 19t03, the applicants hare requested au-therination, pursuant to Section IC4(b) of the Atcmic Energy Act of 1954, as anended, to construct and operate the previously desig.ated Cyster Creek Nuclear Statica Unit 2 at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station in Lcndenderry Tevnship, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The proposed reacter has been redesignated as the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 2, and will be located ad:acent to and just north of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 new being cen-structed by Metropolitan Edison Ccmpany.
