_AND METROPOLITAN EDISON CO39A';Y NOTICE OF ISSL'ANCE OF PROVISIONAL CONSTRUCTION PEPJf!T Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the Initial Decision of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board, dated October 31, 1969, the Director of the Division of Reactor Licensing has issued Provisional Constructicn Permit No. CPPR-66 to Jersey Central Power & Light Ccepany and Metropolitan Edison Company f or construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor, designated as the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 2, on the appli-cants' site on Three Mile Island, in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, about ten miles southeast of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- he reactor is designed for initial operatica at 2452 negawatts (thermal).
