Amendment to FSAR Review Status:
Awaiting Response A request for additional information relative to Quality Assurance (QA) for the operations phase of the Three Mile Island, Unit 2 (TMI-2) is enclosed. This request is based on our review of Metropolitar. Edison Ccrapany's (Met-Ed) description of its QA Program for TMI-2 as presented in k:endment 18 to the FSAR, dated d.ly 15,1974. Our review shows that Met-Ed should amend the FSM to comit to comply with the " Gray Ecok" and" Green Book" for those design, procurelent, and construction activities which may occur during the operaticus phase and for which the guidance is applicable, or identify exceptions and describe acceptable alternates.
Also, a request for additional infomation relative to Conduct of Operations (Section 13.1), and Initial Tests and Operations (Section 14) of the FSAR, as amended, is enclosed. Our review of these sections shows that Met-Ed should asand Sections 13.1 and 14 of the FSAR to provM additional infor-nation as noted in the enclosure.
We require a response to this request for additional information from Het-Ed by Decmber 13, 1974 in order to maintain our current scheduie.
