Rev. O s

The pressure feed tank vill be used for both sets of samples. Toved nit samples (curface and oblique) will be taken at 1C00 and 2200 hcurs as part of the required entrainment sampling, Correlations between Tov vs.

197L Pu=p, Tev vs. 1975 Pump, and 197L Pump vs. 1975 Prp vill be calculated.

Larvae vill be identified to the levest feasible taxa using a stercscopic dissecting scope, and =easured to the nearest 0 5== interval with an ocular =icrc=eter or a helics precisica hand caliper. Data frc= replicate sa=ples vill be cc=bined for tabulation and discussion.

Identifications vill be aided by the following =aterials: Fish (1932), Lippsen and Moran (197h), Mansueti (196h), Fansueti and Har?7 (1967), Meyer (1970), Norden (1961), Snyder and Snyder (1975), and perscnal ec==unications, notes and reference speci= ens provided by other Ichthyc1cgic11 Associates, Inc.

persennel.

Data analysic vill censist of ec=parir.g the species ec=pesitica and density of fish collected with the different gear types.

Analyses deemed necessary to evaluate change shall be done by accepted statistical methods.

It is possible that an analysis of variance vill be perfor:ed to test for differences in density between sample dates, ti=es and gear. 'Cther statistical tests that =ay be employed are the Student-Mcv=an-Euels multirange test and the index of percent si=ilarity.
