Dear Mr. Gerucky:
Jersey Central Power Ir Light Company and Metropolitan T.dison Co=pany have jointly filed Amendment No. 6 to the facility license applica-tica for the previously designated Oyster Creek Nuclear Statica Unit 2.
The applicanta have selected an a new site for the reactor the Three Mile Island Nuclear Statian located in Londonderry Town-ship. Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and have redesignated the reactor as the Three Mile Island Nuclear Statica Unit 2.
The proposed reacter will be located adjacent to and just north of Three Mile Island Rzalear Statica Unit 1 a pressurized water nuclear reactor which is being constructed by Metropolitan M um Company.
A copy of a related notice idlich has been traneitted to the Office of the Federal Register for filing and publication is enclosed for your infeznatica.
