A minimum of apprcxicately one foot of freebeard is prcvided for this floed.
Details of the cike elevatiens and locaticas ray be found in the FSAR.
For floeds greater than the levee design flood of 1,100,000 cfs, energancy precedures provide 'for a safe and crderly shutdoun of the plant.
Additicnally, the station is designed for and protection is provided for a flood as severe as the Prchatle Pixir a F]oed (PMF).
The PMF has a discharge cf 1,625,000 cfs and c cater surface elevation of 309 ft. above nean sea level at the Unit 2 intche smructure.
All plant structuras subject to flooding are fully designed for the effects of static cater lavel and also the dynamic effects associated with coincident vind waves.

Discussions of the shutdczn and waterproofing pro-cedures to be folloued in the event of a large ficod may be found in the FSAR.
