/0 NRC stair OECUE5T Cr?. EV'ENSION CF TIME On January 30, 1978, Citizens for a Safe Environment and the Ycrk Cc=ittee for a Sa fe Envircr/nent (" Joint Intervences") filed " Inter-venors' 3rief in Support of Excepticns to the Initial Cecision Dated December 19, 1977" ("Brief").
In acccrdance with the terms cf 10 CFP.
5 2.762, the NF.C Staff respcnse to the Brief is due February 22, 1975.
However, due to the loss of tir.e resulting fecm the major oower cutage that oc' curred cn the af ternocn of February 14, 1973 and closed Staf' offices until February 16, 1973, we respectfully request an extensicn of time until 'ebruary 22, 1973 within which to file the Staff's response.
The representatite of the Acolicant has.been informed of the Staf f's request and exoressed no chjecticn to it.
The Staff has not teen able to reach the Joint Intervenors' representative, Chauncey 'epf ted.
