Dear Sirs,
The breakdo en of the Thr ee fille Island Power Plant is evidence that.e are unprepared to deal adequately with the generation of energy through nuclear racans.
The full extent of the dangers of radiation are still unknown, but what we do know about the contaaivation of our own bodies, those of our unborn children, our animals, our gardens, our land and our waters, speaks loudly enough.
STOP further construction of nuclear power plants.
1NVESTICATE the safety of power plants now operateing.
SHUN the pressure of vested interests and of those who gamble with human lives.
SAFEGUARD the quality of life here. Become aware that we can do greater evil in our lifetines, than we have power to undo, in the lifetimes of our children, and of our childrens' children.
CLOSE DC' S TilREE MILE ISLAND PO' DER PLANT.
WO?d; TO MAKE OUR ENERGY SOURCES SAFE AND DEPENDABLE.
Sincerely,
+
