I am writing to inform you of the status of this petition.
Per Management Directive (MD) 8.11 Review Process for 10 CFR 2.206 Petitions, the Petition Review Board (PRB) has completed an initial assessment of your submission.
The result of that action determined that this petition does not meet the criteria for consideration because the issue has already been the subject of NRC staff review and evaluation.
I am also writing to state that, per MD 8.11, you have the opportunity to meet with the PRB and discuss their initial assessment.
Please inform me by email by the end of day Wed. July 17th if you would, or would not, like to meet with the PRB on the topic above.
