Note that the disposal submittals (1 and 2 above) will include a review by the Department of Energy, classification experts. The transportation plan will include review by an NRC transportation security expert. These formal reviews may produce requests for additional information (RAI). If so, we will hold a call with you to discuss the RAIs in advance of sending them formally. Based on the NRC's standard metric deadline, these reviews will be completed by January 2020. We will work to expedite these reviews as you requested.
