Dear Mr. Topp:
This letter provides documentation of a conference call on November 30, 1979, between Jerry Steward (EID), Ray Waggoner (Bokum), Gale Billings (Science Applications, Inc.), John Nelson (Colorado State University),
Steven Abt (Colorado State University), William Bivins (NRC), and myself.
The purpose of the conversation was to obtain answers to geological and hydrological questions regarding the revised " Groundwater Discharge Plan Using Below-Grade Tailings Disposal" for Bokum's Marquez mill.
The sumaries of the questions and comments by Messrs. Abt and Nelson (Enclosure 1) and Mr. Bivins (Enclosure 2) are provided.
Enclosures.1 and 2 were previously transmitted to Mr. Waggoner via telecopy on December 13 and 5,1979, respectively.
Please ask Mr. Waggoner to provide a formal response to the items contained in the enclosures.
It should be noted that additional questions and comments may become evident as our review progresses.
