MOTION FOR LATE FILING OF THE UNION OF CONCERNED SCIENTISTS REQUEST FOR RECONSIDERAfION OR, IN THE ALTERNATIVE, FOR CERTIFICATION The Union of Concerned Scientists was served the First Special Prehearing Conference Order by mail on December 20, 1979.
Thus, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.710, the time for filing motions for correction was January 5, 1980, (ten days plus five for mailing). UCS met this deadline by filing on January 4,
1980.
However, because she was out of the office, Counsel was not able to do a final proofreading of the filing, and a number of errors were made.
Therefore, I am today filing a corrected copy of the UCS motion and request permission to late file the corrected version.
