Purpose:
To inform the Comission of the above subject.
Discussion:
Enclosed for the information of the Comission are copies of the Executive Branch response on a pending export license application. Also, please refer to SECY 78-517 for detailed infonnation on the initial core and one reload for KRSK0 covered by export license XSNM01015. Copies of the Executive Branch coments have been placed in the Public Dccument Room. A Comission Action Paper will be forwarded soon.
Comissioners are requested to advise the staff of any particular issues or information which they can identify at this stage and which they wish included in the staff's analysis.

NRC Nos. XSNM01067 -- Application by' West-g inghouse Electric Corporation for authori-zation to export to Yugoslavia 2,874 kilo-3 grams of U-235 contained in 82,926 kilo-
- 4 grams of uranium enriched to a maximum of ff 3.49 percent fabricated into fuel assem-blies for reloads of the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant.

-d and the IAEA as confirmed in a letter from the IAEA, a 11 copy of which is enclosed.
The IAEA has adhered to the 11 provisions of its Agreement for Cooperation with the

The transfer from the IAEA to Yugoslavia ill would be pursuant to the IAEA-Yugoslavia Project and

The Executive Branch has reviewed the application and concluded that the requirements of the Atomic Energy Act, as amended, have been met and that the proposed N.
