Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
This letter is in response to your letter of November 9,1979, which discusses your concerns with those portions of NSSS vendors' and fuel suppliers' ECCS evaluation models dealing with fuel cladding, swelling, and the incidence of rupture. The Babcock & Wilcox Company responded to these concerns with letters dated November 2,1979, November 9, 1979, and November 20, 1979.
The District has reviewed these responses and determined that they are both adequate and applicable to Rancho Seco, Unit No. 1.
