PROPOSED IMPOSITION OF A CIVIL PENALTY - 55,000 This is to inform the Commission that a Notice of Violation and Notice of Preposed Imposition of a Civil Penalty in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars
($5,000) will be issued on or about October 26, 1979, to Boston Edison Company.
This action is based on an item of noncompliance associated with the implemen-tation of the physical security program and involved the undetected access of an individual to the protected area and to a vital area.
A news release will be issued about the time the licensee receives the Notices.
The Commonwealth'of Massachusetts will be informed.
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action.
