BOMB TEFIAT A: 2:52 p.m. on October 11, 1979, the Daniel International Corporation telephone svitchboard operator received a bomb threat call.
The voice sounded like a young He stated, "Ihere is a bo=b in the Turbine Building." He then hung up.

A search of the Turbine Building was imediately started and. no bocib was found.
No site evacuation was conducted.

Tne call was traced to an extension phone on site.
l'1e Sheriff of Coffey County and Kansas City FBI and ATF were notified.
The IAI and offices of Com:issioner Hendrie and Kennedy were notified by telephone ou October 11, 1979.
No press release was made or planned by the licensee or NRC.
