Amendment to Application for Two-Year Extension of the Preliminary Design Approval for RESAR-3S
Dear Mr. Vassallo:
Enclosed are sixty (60) copies of Amendment 15 to RESAR-3S, the Reference Safety Analysis Report for the Westinghouse 3411 MWt Nuclear Steam Supply System. Amendment 15 is submitted in response to the December 13, 1979 request for additional information by Domenic B. Vassallo, Acting Director, Divisfor of Project Management, requesting (.he assessment of recent matters as approved or scheduled for review by the RRRC since September 1,1978.
The amendment is confined to Appendix 3B of RESAR-3S which addressus the regulatory matters in Category I, II, III and IV according to the Com- '
mission's August 22, 1978 policy statement on standardization. Westing-house submitted Appendix 3B ae Amendment 14 on December 15, 1978.
Amendment 15 provides the additional information as requested to further approval of a two-year extension of PDA-7; but other than ATWS the subjecte are interface in nature and not Westinghouse scope.
