Please find enclosed eight copies of revised pages for the Consolidated License Application for Exxon Nuclear Model 51032-1 and -la Shipping Containers", XN-52, Revision 1.
Guides for inclusion of the revised pages in your version of XN-52, Rev. 1, dated June 1979 are included with each set of revised pages.
Responses to each of your specific requests / comments / questions are given below:
Structural 1.
Provide a listing of the licensing drawings for each of the two models of the packagings.
Indicate the Drawing No.,

and Revision No. for each drawing.
A listing of the licensing drawings for the tuo packaging models is provided in Attachment 1.
Craving, sheet, and revisicn nic-bers are given for each.

Provide a copy of each licensing drawing. Each drawing should indicate the Drawing No., Sheet No., Revision No., and the Model No. of the packaging.
The present drawings are not legible, do not indicate all safety features, contain extraneous material, and are uncrganized (number of drawings should be reduced to a minimum).

Identify the changes made to any of design features shown on the revised drawings from the currently approved design and show that the modified design meets the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71.
Design changes shoun are indicated in Attachment i and reference is made to the location in the a: plication uhere the safety related effect of the design changes is discussed.
Each change has been shown to meet the requiremeMs of 10 CFR 71 either by separate evaluation or evaluation versus the features of the currently licensed packages.
Criticality 1.
Provide specific details of each experimental array used to support the calculational methods in the criticality safety analyses.
De-lineate all simplifying assumptions made and adjustments made to obtain the reported results.
Additional details of benchmark calculations used to support the criticality safety calculaMonal methods is provided by the inclu-sion of document XN-NF-499, " Criticality Safety Benchmark Calcula-tions for Lo:>-Enriched Urani:e Metal and Uranium C=ide Rod-Water La ttices ". That document (Reference 7) is referenced in Sections 12.1. 3.1 and 12.1.3. 2 and three (3) cocies are enclosed herewith.
The list of references, Section 13, is' changed accordingly.

Provide appropriate copies (3) of References 4 and 6.
Three (3) copies of each of those references are enclosed.
