Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to provide interim report on Welded Hilti Bolts on electrical support plates as identified to Region II orally on September 13, 1979 and in writing on September 27, 1979.
To date the re-inspection program has covered 722 supports or approxi-mately 4300 bolts on electrical supports. This represents approximately 65% of the total electrical supports (safety related).
Twenty (20) bolts have been found welded to plates, one (1) has been found wedged. These conditions will receive an engineering evaluation to determine the ef fect on the safety of operations of the plant, had the conditions gone uncorrected.
It is currently estimated that re-inspection will be completed and a final report submitted by January 1980.
