Dear Sir:
In accordance with the provisions of Section 2.201 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Public Service Indiana offers the following information in response to the items of noncompliance identified in Inspection Report 50-546/79-09; 50-547/79-09.
Corrective Action Taken and Results Achieved All nuclear safety-related construction at the Marble Hill site, including concrete placement activities, has been stopped.
Corrective Action Taken to Prevent Recurrence The organization and procedures of both PSI and Newberg-Marble Hill are undergoing extensive evaluation. Changes will be implemented where necessary but additional time is requested to fully develop these changes and address action to prevent recurrence.
Date then Full Compliance Will Be Achieved Results of the evaluation, knplementation of changes to the PSI Quality Assurance Program, and a description of corrective action taken or planned is expected to be complete by December 15, 1979.
